The colour television games circuit allows coloured symbols to appear on the screen without using a colour modulator. The output of the circuit is not HF modulated. Output signals describing a symbol or associated symbols are applied directly to the receiver's colour output stage or to the video output stage via the colour matrix if one is present. Associated symbols are entered into one or more colour output stages and converted into the appropriate primary colour or colour mix which then appears on the screen. The sync. output of the circuit is connected to the receiver's sync. circuit. The receiver's HF input circuit is switched off. |
