The wall through conduit for cables or pipes has a sheath pipe corresponding in length to the wall thickness. This pipe has an outer shoulder extending radially from it, and a sealing ring in front of and extending over the shoulder. The sheath pipe (2) has an outer thread (6) extending on the sealing ring side either up to the pipe end (7) or as far as a pipe end section (13) which is outwardly cylindrical, or which narrows from the pipe end (7) to the commencement of the threads. The sealing ring (5) locates on a bed comprising a cylindrical or narrowing surface against the shoulder (4).
