The foot massaging device comprises a foot support part (2) and an electrical drive (6). In the foot support part (2) there is held a ball bearing (8) in which a disc (1) is mounted. The disc (1) has an annular groove (9) extending in the outer edge. A V belt (7) which runs over the output of the electric motor (6) drives the disc (1). Active bodies (4) in the form of balls are located on the disc (1). These balls are held in a cage (3) in a desired arrangement. In order to obtain as uniform a massaging effect as possible, it is favourable to keep the balls in spiral arrangement. A membrane (5) sealing the foot support part (2) is stretched over the balls (4). This membrane may be made of an elastomeric material with a textile insert. <IMAGE>
