These compounds, which are tautomerically interconvertible with their isomers are prepared by reacting a lactim ether with an alpha-amino ketone. Therapeutic compositions having hypoglycaemic activity comprise the above compounds, and may be administered orally, sublingually, intrabuccally or parenterally.
