The filaments are of metal, and are equally angularly spaced about the fibre, which is centrally located. The member may be of a thermoplastics material, and may contain carbon black. A plurality of such elements may be stranded together within a sheath, see Fig. 3 (not shown), or may be helically wound about a sheathed core of stranded metal wire, Fig. 4 (not shown). |
