There is described a pigment preparation containing 3 to 80 per cent by weight of an inorganic or organic pigment and a carbodiimido-containing resin. Preferably, this pigment preparation can also contain an organic, amino-free solvent. The pigment preparation mentioned is suitable in particular for pigmenting synthetic macromolecular materials.
