Process for improving the maximal use of inking materials partic. in the printing appts. of equipment which treats information electronically, involves the unwinding of the inking material at a substantially constant speed onto the printing units. The printing appts. has an adjustable control for the inking material or special inking material which is pref. a material which allows a maximal use of ink >=30%/linear m over its entire length, e.g. nylon with 112 threads/cm2 and 34 individual fibres/thread. Process allows a higher and more regular use of ink than previous processes, thus reducing wastage. Pref. each end of the pref. inking material is tied to a spool which has exterior dia. d > half of the exterior dia. D of the roll made from the inking material wound on the spool. Inking material is so short that the use of the ink per linear metre deviates 10% from its maximal value over its entire length, e.g. d is pref. 40-60 mm and the length of the inking material is 6-12 m.
|
