APPARATUS FOR REMOVAL OF CONDENSATION FROM A MARINE GAS EXPLODER DEVICE

A marine gas exploder including an enclosed cylinder adapted to be submerged in water, and having therein an expansible combustion chamber chargeable with an explosive mixture adapted on ignition to produce gaseous and liquid combustion products, is provided with means for removing automatically the liquid combustion products. Such means include a sump formed in the lowest part of the combustion chamber, and an exhaust tube penetrating the combustion chamber with its open end terminating within the sump so that combustion products flowing into the exhaust tube pass through the sump and carry the liquid combustion products into the exhaust tube for removal.
