PURPOSE:To prevent an obstacle-touching accident by providing an obstacle-touch detection means on a side winder provided between a front and a rear wheel in the lower part on the left side of a car body and controlling the electric supply and others to an engine system by the detected signal therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A side winder 2 is fixed between a front wheel B and a rear wheel C in the lower part on the left side A of a car body via props 1. A touch plate 4 is fitted to a side winder 2 via a hinge 4, while an operating projection 6 is provided in a hole 7 on the side winder 2 to project from the surface so that the operating projection 6 may be brought in contact with a switch 5 by the movement of the touch plate 4. The side winder 2 is equipped with a solenoid 8 and a plunger 10, and a connecting rod 9 in one body with the plunger 10 is inserted through a hole 11 to be arranged near the touch plate 4. In this construction, when the touch plate 4 comes in touch with a pedestrian or the like, the swtich 5 is operated to start an alarm as well as to stop an engine. |
