摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the impurity removing speed and the amount of impurities captured by composing a cold trap of the first inner tube and the second inner tube provided with wire netlike packings and passing liq. Na through the packings and two circular passes while effectively cooling it. CONSTITUTION:Inner tubes 17, 18 of double structure are set in container 11 of the cold trap, and packings 15 such as wire nets are packed in the central portion. Hot liq. Na contg. impurities such as oxide enters from inlet 12 and passes through circular pass 14 while being cooled with fan 16. It flows into packings 15 from inlet 17a of the first inner tube 17 to precipitate the impurities supersatd. by cooling on wire nets 15. The impurities-free Na passes through circular pass 19 between second inner tube 18 and packings 15, and circular pass 20 for heat exchange between tubes 17, 18, and it reaches discharge outlet 13 from outlet 17b of tube 17. Since Na flowing through packings 15 is not heated with hot Na flowing into container 11, impurities are efficiently precipitated at a low grade.
