PURPOSE:To attain rapid simulation by dividing a weight matrix, output vectors and error vectors into partial matrixes and partial vectors and allowing P XP processors arranged like a two-dimensional square grating consisting of P lines and P rows to execute the operation of the partial matrixes and the partial vectors in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The processors(PE) 1 are arranged so as to be constituted of P lines and P rows, connected like loops through data transfer lines 2 formed in respective rows and also connected like loops by the data transfer lines 2 formed in respective lines. The transfer of the partial output vector and the partial error vector from a diagonal processor to the vertical and horizontal processors 1 is executed like pipelines by using the data transfer means 2 connecting adjacent processors 1 to speed up data transfer. Thus, rapid simulation can be attained by parallel processing based upon plural processors 1 and efficient data transfer between respective processors. |
