PURPOSE:To prevent splash of molten metal at the time of pouring molten metal by arranging a trap part to a runner part in a casting device provided with a flask containing packed sand, a mold embedded in the flask, a sprue part arranged at upper part of the flask and the runner part introducing the poured molten metal into the mold from the sprue part. CONSTITUTION:In the flask 1, the packing sand 3 and a lost foam pattern 5 are charged to therein, and a lost foam material-made sprue bar 9, the runner 11 between a sprue cup 7 and the lost foam pattern 5 and a trap part 19 at upper part of the sprue bar 9 are arranged, and a gauze 13 at the lower part thereof and a vacuum chamber 15 below the gauze are set, and the generated gas at the time of losing the lost foam pattern 5, etc., is exhausted by introducing the gas to a vacuum pump through a suction hole 17. By pouring the high temp. molten metal 27, the sprue bar 9, runner 11 and lost foam pattern 5 are lost in order and in the process of producing the prescribed shape of the product, the gas generated by losing the lost foam material becomes bubble 29 and the bubble 29 is risen and stored in a gas collector 28, and the molten metal in the sprue cup 7 is prevented from splashing. |
