PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion and deposition of polished rice to a bottom plate in the course of discharge of rice from a rice container, by integrating a heater in an openable bottom plate, thereby enabling the heating of the space in the casing and the drying of the bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:Air flowing along the direction of arrow (f) with a blower 7 is passed through a mesh bed 1 and polished rice (r) to give moisture to the rice (r), transferred along the direction of arrow (g), humidified with a humidifier 9 and again flowed along the direction of arrow (f). The temperature in the casing (V) is constantly maintained at a prescribed temperature with a thermostat (S) and a heater integrated in a bottom plate 8 to keep the bottom plate in dry state. The polished rich (r) can be smoothly transferred to a conveyor (T) by opening the mesh bed 1 and the bottom plate 8. |
