The container (2) is provided with a closure cap (3) and has at least part of one component in a transparent material. A portion (5) of the transparent material is shaped to form a magnifying lens (6). The container and cap may be of approximately equal size and each have a cylindrical body with a dome-shaped end. One or both these ends may form a magnifying lens. The height from the rim (10) to the top of the cap (3) may correspond with the optimum focussing distance of the lens. The transparent material may be plastic, glass or a sugar-containing mixture.
