PURPOSE:To remove the risk of the period/cost of program formation by preparing an I/O controlling adaptor chip in addition to a core function chip, a reference I/O function integrating chip and a specific I/O function chip. CONSTITUTION:The core function chip 42 is connected to a controller 12 through a control line 41 and the I/O control adaptor chip 44 is connected to the chip 42 through an I/O bus line 43. An I/O function bus line 46 is connected to the adaptor chip 44 and the reference I/O function integrating chip 48 and the specific I/O function chip group 49 are connected to the bus line 46 through a bus connection line 47. Consequently, the contents or number of I/O functions to be used can be easily changed and the microcomputer is allowed to correspond to processing over the wide range from the specification determining step of program formation up to the change of the number of I/O functions on the way of production. |
