<p>The harvester has two cutters(1) is positioned in the front of the cutting and pick-up device. The top one (3) of the cutters is fixed as a rotor in the top of the side-walls (2) and is enclosed by a metal plate (4). A hasp (5) presses the crop obliquely backwards onto the rotary cutter (3), where the bottom stalks (6) fall onto a conveyor-belt (7). The top parts of the stalks (8) fall onto the transverse bar (9) or onto the outwards-turning screw (10), from where the top stalk-parts (8) drop onto a crosswise conveyor-screw (11). From there, the top and bottom pieces of stalk (6, 8) are conveyed by means of blades positioned on the middle of the crosswise conveyor screw (11) to intake-rollers (15, 16) and the chopper.</p> |
