<p>PURPOSE:To shift the tape stop position by one field and to satisfactorily reproduce data by generating a damping pulse based on the artificial control pulse of a counter at the time of the occurrence of field deviation of still picture frame reproducing. CONSTITUTION:A counter 5 is provided which counts rotational speed detection pulses of a capstan motor at an input terminal 1 to generate the timing artificial control pulse shifted from the reproducing control pulse of an input terminal 2 by one field; and when field deviation occurs at the time of slow motion reproducing of a tape where one picture is recorded in each two fields, the artificial control pulse of the counter 5 which is shifted from the reproduced control signal by one field is inputted to a damping pulse generating circuit 7. The following tape stop position is shifted from the position based on the reproduced control pulse by one field by the damping pulse generated based on the artificial control pulse, and reproducing of still picture frames shifted by one field is repeated. Thus, satisfactory slow motion reproducing is possible.</p> |
