<p>PURPOSE:To allow switch-over in steering in a simple manner by providing a switch-over shifter by freely switching over to either one of front wheel steering only by front wheels, front/rear wheel steering by both front and rear wheels, and rear wheel steering only by rear wheels. CONSTITUTION:A switch-over shifter 11 is operated with a switch-over lever actuated, and when a front and a rear switch-over gear 40 and 41 are moved to the rear end side, the gear 41 comes out of a gear 37 in a state that the gear 40 is meshed with a gear 36. This results in the interlocking configuration of front wheel steering F wherein a lock pin 43 is engaged with a lock hole 45, so that only a front switch-over shaft 35 is interlocked in steering by a steering handle 3. When a shifter 14 is moved to the center position, the gear 40 is meshed with the gear 36, the gear 41 being meshed with the gear 37, which resulting in the configuration of front/rear wheel steering W so that the front switch-over shaft 38 is interlocked with a rear switch-over shaft 39 in steering to the same direction. The gear 40 is disconnected from the gear 36 while a shifter 14 is positioned at the front end, a lock pin 42 concurrently being engaged with a lock hole 44, the gear 41 coming out of the gear 37, and is concurrently meshed with a gear 35. This results in the configuration of rear wheel steering so that only the shaft 39 is interlocked to the direction opposite to the steering direction by the handle 3 when compared with the case of front/rear wheel steering W.</p> |
