1457992 Bolts F HESTERBERG & SOHNE 16 May 1975 [16 May 1974] 20988/75 Heading E2A A hinged stanchion 3 on the loading deck of a goods vehicle remains locked in its erect position until the sides of the deck have been lowered. The stanchion is pivoted at 7 to the frame 1 of the deck and is held in a vertical position by a sliding bolt 4 engaging a pocket 2 secured to the frame 1. The bolt may be lifted against spring 10 by pulling lever 12, 15 out from the position shown in Fig. 1 to that shown in Fig. 2, but while the adjacent side is in its erected position, this movement of the lever is prevented by its presence (Fig. 3, not shown). |
