The ring-launching toy comprises a ring (22) and two oblong members pivoting together at one end (12) while there are handles at the other (13, 14). After fitting the ring over the members, it is launched by pulling the handles vigorously apart. The members pivot together by means of a flexible portion forming a hinge, and which can be moulded integrally with them. The handles can be separately fixed to the members, or mould integrally with them. The members can be of U-section.
