<p>The low profile windscreen wiper blade assembly of low profile comprises a wiper blade mounted by arms on a support (6) which has a recess (2) opening on its face opposite to that facing the blade, and receiving the transverse pin (3) at the end of the oscillating arm of the assembly. The support may be made of resilient material, and be deformed to admit the pin. The support may alternatively comprise two rigid parts hinged together to form a recess between them, and acted on by a spring. The pin (3) has a peripheral groove which is engaged by a continuous or discontinuous rib on the wall of the recess, or by a metal blade on one of the parts. Alternatively, the peripheral groove is engaged by arms projecting from a pivoted cover which closes the open mouth of the recess (2).</p> |
