<p>The sailing board has a rigid hull formed from two halves (1) and (2) which may be joined by the ribs (103) and (104). Each half of the hull is fitted with a longitudinal film under water. The cross ribs go right through the hull and are secured by keep plates (109, 110). The structure is held rigid by a central platform (19) which is fitted with a step for the mast and a mounting for the centre plate. The halves of the board are made from plastic material and filled with foam. The ribs may be removed to form a mono-hulled craft.</p> |
