In the fuel injection system, operating in dependence on the exhaust gas composition probe output, works either in synchronism with the crankshaft revolutions, or independence on speed and intake air volume. In the first instance fuel is supplied via electromagnetic injection valves, while in the second instance the fuel injection is determined by a control pressure. The probe output signal is compared with a threshold voltage, and an in tegrator circuit in series-connected to the comparator, which generates a signal affecting the injected fuel volume.
