Wide tolerance injection moulded pen component - has cold flow ribs on inside of fibre tip housing

The wide-tolerance injection-moulded component is for use in pens, and partic. for accommodating the fibre tip at the forward end. Cold-flow ribs are provided at least on the inside of the tip housing. They can be obliquely positioned, so that the lines bisecting the angles of their tips, and where they are not of triangular cross-section are at an angle greater than zero. The design provides an easy method of avoiding distortion of the fibre tip, with consequent adverse effect on ink flow etc. when pressing into place during manufacture.
