A soldi-liquid filter is surrounded by a feed bath from which a slurry pump transfers to a hydrocyclone integral with the filter top section. They heavy fraction from this hydrocyclone passes to the filter directly whilst the liq. component returns to the feed bath. Used for the filtering and dewatering of sands and muds. Filter has a simple and compact construction with high filtration efficiency.
