Systematic re-use of plastics mouldings as scrap, comprises sorting the articles, according to their compsn. on the basis of an internationally standardised schedule; collecting them; liquefying them e.g. by melting; dyeing; comminuting; packaging in sacks; and re-distributing them to the trade or plastics-processing industry. Economic re-use/disposal of plastics scrap without environmental pollution and other potential health hazards.
