<p>In parent patent, control device for a cylinder-piston unit for opening and closing the mould of a rubber or plastics injection moulding machine, esp. for the prodn. of shoe soles, comprises a change-over valve for connecting one of these cylinder chambers, of the mould closure uit to a compressed air source and the other chamber to free atmosphere. A key valve is present in a circuit branch which is used to interrupt and close off this branch. In this addn. this key valve is replaced by a cam-operaed, spring-loaded valve, mounted on a moving part, e.g. turntable, of the machine. During the machine cycle, this valve passes over the cam, after the manually operated control valve has traversed, with its non-manual side, a control cam for automatically presetting it. In the parent patent, the valve has to be operated by hand, in this addn. the valve is cam-operated.</p> |
