<p>The bed frame which can be used to make up single beds, double beds, bunk beds etc. comprises bed ends (10) detachably connected to side frames (3). The bed ends comprise at least one transverse board (11) and two uprights (12, 13) which are provided on their lower end faces with central positioning sockets (14) and on their upper end faces with fixing lugs (15). These posts are connected together by the transverse board of the same width and is positioned at the point of attachment of the side frames (30). Cover members consisting of a cover board and two uprights (22, 23) are designed to be pushed onto the cross board (11) and/or the side frames (30) and serve as head boards or protective fascia panels for the different bed units. The uprights are fitted without any extra fittings or connecting means and allows easy conversion.</p> |
