<p>The stripline type microwave circulator with temp. compensation consists of two permanent magnet discs producing a uniform field and enclosing the outer striplines (4). The magnetic circuit is completed by a yoke (6). In the stripline branch area are ferrite discs, one each sie of the centre line (1). These are enclosed by a matching ring (2) of a magnetic dielectric material having a lower curie point and higher temp.-dependent saturation. The compensation ring may be of a permanently magnetised oxide such as barium ferrite and extends the temp. limits of the circulator without alteration of the permanent magnetic field.</p> |
