<p>The self-locking neck frame for cattle comprises side frame stays (6), and can be moved into the closed position by pressure applied on driving in the cow. The neck frame is moved towards the plane of the posts (1a, 1b), and in this position, the device is releasably and movably fixed. The stays can be lowered so far that the animal is held, and the neck is placed in the device from above via stay connectors (5), and their internal spacing is always less than the animal's head width. Pivot arms (3) with the side stays pref. point inwards in the closed position, and their bearings (4) extend horizontally and parallel to the trough or at a low angle to this axis.</p> |
