The loudspeaker box, for living rooms, consists of a bass speaker (6) below a middle tone speaker and a treble speaker (10). The rear of the bass speaker is connected via a funnel-shaped sound channel (34) to the outside. The pressure space is connected to the sound channel by a restriction (in cross-section) and/or by an acoustic valve. The volume of the pressure space is (1/3)d3, where d is the dia. of the bass speaker's housing. The sound channel forms a shortened bass-tone exponential horn.
