1534805 Lighting fittings; lighting systems W M TREFFERS 26 Aug 1977 [7 Sept 1976] 36021/77 Heading F4R A fitting for a tubular lamp comprises two longitudinally extending complementary members having respective central web portions 18, 19 functioning as reflectors and thickened end portions 20, 21 with grooves 22, 23 intended principally for spacing or bridging members, but also accommodating if required wiring or contact strips, hoods or gratings, or being used to mount the lighting assembly in a ceiling. For these additional functions more than one groove may be provided in each thickened rim. A ceiling lighting system comprising a plurality of such fixtures is disclosed (Fig. 19, not shown). |
