<p>The pneumatic conveyor with blower transports textiles or other low-density items through a tube by means of an air current. A centrifugal blower (3) is combined with a nozzle (3) to form an ejector, through which air emerges at high speed, and an inlet opening (7) is provided for the items to be transported. The nozzle is followed, in the flow direction, by a mixing tube (9) and after this a diffuser (10). The nozzle can be in line with the mixing tube, there being a suction chamber (6) between them, containing the inlet opening. Alternatively, the inlet opening can be in line with the tube, the nozzle being annular, with guide faces directing the air current axially into the tube.</p> |
