PURPOSE:To attain ease of alignment adjustment of an image pickup device, by stopping the operation of an electromagnetic focusing circuit and a deflecting circuit at a period being an integral multiple of one field so as to locate a circular pattern produced by the action to a prescribed position while monitoring an output of the image pickup device. CONSTITUTION:An output of an image pickup tube 6 is applied to a process circuit 10 and a video signal from this circuit 10 is applied to a monitor receiver 11. This image pickup tube 6 is provided with a focusing coil and deflecting electrodes for electrostatic deflection, and to this coil and the deflecting electrodes, a focusing signal and a deflecting signal from the focusing circuit 12 are applied. Further line frequency and field frequency signals formed at an oscillating circuit 13 are applied to the circuit 12 and also to a control circuit 14. Further, the action of the focusing coil and the deflecting electrodes is stopped at a period being an integral multiple of one field, and the circular pattern produced through the action is brought to the prescribed position while the output of the image pickup device is monitored on the receiver 11, allowing to attain ease of alignment adjustment of the image pickup device. |
