<p>Hob for gas cooker having one or more burner positions with a ceramic/glass plate above the burners at a specific distance e.g. 10 to 15 mm from the burners themselves, has each burner in the form of a gas heated jet burner with at least one perforated ceramic plate situated such that the gas burns virtually flamelessly on the surface of the ceramic plate. The separation of the burner and plate is such that the exhaust or burnt gases can flow away in an unhindered manner. A thermo-element is provided to monitor the temperature of the ceramic plate and allows fine or course control through a control device.</p> |
