A demountable structure, for example for forming scaffolding, shelf assemblies or frame assemblies comprises a pair of co-axial spaced connection members with a connection element interposed between the end edges of the connection member. A screw or other means extends between the connection members and clamps the end edges thereof onto the connection element. The connection element is associated with, for example, a shelf or cross-member, and a plurality of connection elements can be collectively interposed between the connection members so as to form a connection for a plurality of concurrent cross-members or the like. |
