1463625 N-substituted dihydroheterocyclic compounds MINNESOTA MINING & MFG CO 1 April 1974 [2 April 1973] 14439/74 Heading C2C [Also in Division G2] Novel N-substituted dihydroheterocyclic amines having the general formula wherein n is an integer from 1 to 3; p is 0, 1, 2 or 3; D is a radical of the formula R is a (C 1 -C 10 ) monovalent organic radical containing not more than 60 atomic weight units of the elements O, N, F, Cl or S, the remainder of the radical being carbon and hydrogen atoms; Q1 is =CR1R1, S, O, Se or NR1; R1 is hydrogen, (C 1 -C 6 ) alkyl, phenyl or benzyl; Z is hydrogen or taken together with an adjacent Z may be benzene or naphthalene optionally substituted with an auxochromic substituent (defined), A is a radical of the formula Q2 is =NH, =NR, -HC=N-, O, S, or Se; G is N, C or O Y is H, Cl, F, (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl; OH, OR2, NR3R4, SCH 3 , CN, benzene, phenoxy, -SO 2 N(CH 3 ) 2 , N-morpholino or N-piperidino; Z1 is H, Cl, F, (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl, -OR5 or -NR 2 5, Z2 is H, Cl, F, -OR5 or (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl; or Z1 together with an adjacent Z2 represent benzene, naphthalene or benzthiazino optionally substituted with an auxochromic substituent (defined); R2 is (C 1 -C 6 )alkyl; R3 and R4 are individually hydrocarbyl or chloroethyl, or taken together with an adjacent Z2 represent, 1,2-ethylene, 1,3-propylene or 1,2-phenylene, or in conjunction with each other may form a 5- or 6-membered ring containing not more than one oxygen or one additional nitrogen atom; R5 is methyl or ethyl; B is a radical of the formula Q3 is =CR1R1, S, O, Se or NR1; and R and Z are as defined above, except that when Q3 is = CR1R1 then Z is a hydrogen atom.
