PURPOSE:To reduce remarkably unpleasant sound by constituting a sliding section of a cassette opener with a cassette cover into a projected shape. CONSTITUTION:An upper end of a support 11 for cassette opener provided with standing on a base of a magnetic recording and reproducing device is provided with a cut and folded projection part 12 projected to one side. Holes 14a, 14b are provided to both sides of a cassette opener 13 covered to the upper end of the support 11 from the upper side and any one of the holes 14a, 14b is engaged with the projection 12 so as to support the opener 13 to the support 11. An upper sliding section 13a of the opener 13 is projected upward in the form of circular arc and the lower end of the cassette cover is pressed into contact with this sliding section 13a and slided. The contact area with the cassette cover is very small,the affect by the surface roughness of the upper end sliding section, the processing accuracy, burr and the fitting state to the base is very little, the up/down operation of a cassette is attained smoothly and unpleasant sound generated at the sliding of the cassette cover is reduced remarkably. |
