PURPOSE:To obtain a necessary azimuth angle precisely by holding a displaced plate which holds a magnetic head on a lever-shaped base through an elastic plate in one body, and moving the displaced plate by a forward-backward moving mechanism in parallel and at right angles to the lengthwise direction of the base. CONSTITUTION:When an azimuth burst signal having an azimuth angle +thetaa is recorded, a screw 15 is moved threadably. Then, the displaced plate 8 linked with the screw 15 in one body moves on a plane parallel to a floppy disk in parallel and at right angles to the forward/backward moving direction of the base 10 as shown by an arrow 17 against the elastic forces of elastic plates 9a and 9b. Then, while the displaced plate 8 is displaced from a reference position by a displacement extent 8, an azimuth burst signal with an azimuth angle +theta1 is recorded. When an azimuth burst signal with an azimuth angle -thetaa is recorded, on the other hand, the displaced plate 8 is displaced with the screw 15 as shown by an arrow 18 by a specific quantity. Thus, the displaced plate 8 holding a magnetic head 8 is supported on the elastic plate 9a and 9b, so an accurate azimuth angle is set with good reproducibility. |
