<p>Moulded clothes peg comprises two elements each with a jaw at one end and a lever arm at the other end, with a central zone between the two end portions of each element. In the central zones are complementary pivot means engaged with each other. The ends of the lever arms are connected to each other by an integral connecting strip extending along a line with at least one curve, so that the natural resilience of the material maintains the jaws biassed towards each other. The connecting strip may form a single curve extending beyond the ends of the lever arms, or a folded assembly with at least three rounded bends forming a V-shaped profile with an inner bend at its base and two connecting beads at the ends of the arms. The peg has no metal parts.</p> |
