<p>The transfer machine may be used to move a workpiece between successive stations (10, 11) in a prodn. line. It has oscillating portal frame mountings (2-4, 6-8) acting in association with rotating cams (4, 13). The parallel legs (2, 3, 6, 7) of the portals are blade springs obtg. a reciprocating side-away which is engendered by the cams. The machine may include a primary portal of rectangular elevation and with vertical blade spring legs fixed at the base (1). A second portal with horizontal legs may be fixed to a vertical bracket (5) which is in turn fixed to the bar of the primary portal. The transfer comprises the bar of the second portal, and two rotating cams on a common drive shaft (12).</p> |
