Fabric having cellulose fibre paper attached to e.g. plastic net - without adhesive, used for disposable garments

A non-woven fabric comprises a paper of cellulose fibres attached without adhesive to a net pref. of plastic filaments (esp. of polyamide and polypropylene. The wt. of the net is 5-10 gm/m2 and the wt. of the paper which is pref. only attached to one side of the net is pref. 10-20 gm/m2. The fabric is used for e.g. disposable garments for hospitals, and is cheap to produce and strong. Pref. the net is fed onto a screen and cellulose pulp is deposited from a feed device onto the top of the net. Excess fluid is removed by a suction device beneath the screen and the paper is dried by passage around the roller so that the paper adheres to the net.
