<p>The gas which is used to extract heat from the rotor flows axially through the rotor slots carrying the winding and closed by wedges. Radial holes for cooling gas outflow are provided in each slot at least in a part of the rotor length. These holes consist of recesses (5) in the side of slot wedges (4). Dovetailed recesses (6) are made in the outer part of the wedge (4), in which matching elements (7) are inserted. They project into the cooling gas recesses and partly cover them.</p> |
