<p>The adjustment is for a flexible transmission mechanism, having an internally-threaded end piece on a cable sheath, into which a mating piece screws. Both pieces have a bore for the cable core. The mating piece has one or more elastic arms (42), with a locking lug (43) engaging in a profiled portion of the end piece. There can be two diametrically opposite arms with lugs, and the profiled portion can consist of a number of grooves on the outer periphery, running in the lengthwise direction. The mating piece can comprise a threaded metal core, over which plastic is sprayed at the end.</p> |
