Switch point heating installation for use on railways - uses plastics heat distribution piping with foam lagging and concrete block protection

The heating plant made up of prefabricated parts is delivered completely assembled contained in a sheet metal housing and fitted with all the necessary switching-and measuring instruments. The plant comprises also the fuel tank mounted on concrete foundation. The heating plant contains also a power generating set and a battery catering for the power requirement of the plant. The heat distributing piping consists of plastic hoses which are delivered to the site in rolls and assembled in situ. The assembled piping layout is provided with foam lagging in form of expanded plastic hoses and the finished layout is protected by concrete blocks. The heating plant operates under the command of thermostat with sensor attached to a switch point.
