PURPOSE:To eliminate nonuniformity of grinding work on the surface of a work-piece by providing a mechanism for supporting a carriage frame with a placing table through a guide rail extending in the right and left direction and continuously reciprocating the carriage frame long the guide rail. CONSTITUTION:A rotary plate 14 rotates by driving a drive motor M3, a link 16 reciprocates with a stroke of twofold of eccentric quantity of an eccentric shaft 13, hereby the carriage frame 9 of a carriage device 8 reciprocates along a guide rail 5 in the right and left direction. Following to this movement, a workpiece is fed to the front of an endless sanding belt 29, and ground and polished while moving in the right and left direction. As a result, even if wave motion of the sanding belt 29 is generated between guide rollers 10a, 10b, the workpiece can be flatly made even by right and left movement of it. |
