PURPOSE:To decrease the height of the entire parabolic antenna so as to decrease the received wind pressure by fitting the offset type parabolic antenna to a vehicle such as an automobile while its primary radiator is deflected to the upper side of the reflecting plate. CONSTITUTION:The primary radiator 8 is fitted while being deflected to the upper side of the reflecting plate 3. Through the forming above, the elevating angle of the center shaft of the offset type parabolic antenna is decreased and when the elevating angle is adjusted so as to be directed in the direction of a broadcast satellite, it is required to direct the reflecting plate 3 upward more than that of a conventional parabolic antenna. Thus, the angle of the reflecting plate 3 itself is decreased to the automobile 2 thereby decreasing the entire height. Thus, in using the parabollic antenna 1 in this way, the wind pressure of the antenna received while being fitted to the automobile 2 is decreased. |
