发明名称 ULTRASONIC MATERIAL INSPECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To detect a defect continuously in an object to be inspected by projecting an ultrasonic wave pulse modulated from an ultrasonic wave transmitter to receive the reflected wave with a receiver and measure the propagation time difference between received signals by means of non-contact with a pulse processing circuit. CONSTITUTION:An electrical signal modulated with a synchronous oscillator 8 and a pulse modulator 7 is inputted into an ultrasonic wave transmitter 3 via a transmission amplifier 6 and the ultrasonic wave generated is directed with a directivity controlling phone 1 to project to the object being inspected. The ultrasonic wave is collected with a directivity controlling phone 2 passing through the object 5 being inspected and received with an ultrasonic wave receiver 4. The signal received is inputted into a signal processing circuit 11 via a receiving amplifier 9 and a filter 10 to calculate the propagation time thereof. The propagation time is compared with the propagation time for the material without defects to detect defects 13 in the object 5 being inspected continuously.
