The interlock switch, for relays, allows only one relay to be operated at any time. The operating coils of the relays are connected into one branch of a resistance bridge coupled via switches to a voltage source. Contactors (dl, 13, dl, 23) etc) are coupled in parallel with the coils (dl.1 dl2 etc.) of the relays (1-4) of several inter-dependent pre-selection controls (I, II). The number of these contractors is equal to one less than the number of pre-selection controls. The advantage lies in avoiding a series of chain of a large number of disconnectors.
