The rod is made from a plastic material with limited elasticity in the form of a stretched hollow profile. For storage purposes a material poll (P1) is made to fit into it being closed at both ends by cover sections (2) with at least one of these cover sections being made exchangeable. The exercise rod includes a roll (P1) made from a crease resistant and flexible multi-layer track of material in the form of a games base. The dia. of the rod corresponds to about one tenth of its length.
